The conference will bring together a diverse audience of researchers, clinicians (including hematologists, primary care providers, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants), public health professionals, individuals living with sickle cell disease (SCD), caregivers, community-based organizations, students, and trainees. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive forum for sharing the latest advances in SCD care, research, and advocacy. We will focus on provider education, featuring sessions on updates in primary care, mental health, insurance, and advocacy from the perspectives of providers, people with lived experience, and community-based organizations.
