The ACL Research Retreat aims to unite researchers, clinicians, and professionals to share and discuss the latest scientific advancements across the ACL injury continuum—from initial injury risk and prevention through rehabilitation and long-term outcomes. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, the Retreat seeks to strengthen the scientific foundation for clinical decision-making, enhance patient care, and identify emerging directions for impactful ACL research. Proceedings from the meeting will be published in the Journal of Athletic Training. Our expectation is that the Retreat will make a valuable contribution to the existing body of literature, continue to strengthen the foundation for evidenced-based interventions, and identify critical areas for novel scientific inquiry.
