About the Event

This year's theme is “Cancer Discovery and Application – The Road to Improved Patient Outcomes: A Symposium Celebrating UNC Lineberger’s 50 Years of Discovery.”

The day-and-a-half meeting will feature presentations on the latest cancer research findings, and is open to researchers, trainees and industry participants.  

The event is free. An optional buffet lunch is available to attendees on the first day of the symposium. Please indicate on your registration if you will be ordering a lunch ($20).

Registration Information

If you require reasonable accommodation for this event, your registration and request for accommodation must be received by Sunday, August 24, 2025.

The deadline to register in advance for in-person attendance is Tuesday, September 2. Onsite registration will be available at the event. 

There is no deadline to register for virtual attendance. 

All registration confirmation emails will include a virtual attendance link. 


Onsite Parking

Free onsite parking is available at the Friday Center for attendees. A parking pass must be displayed on the car dashboard. A link to download the parking pass will be included in your confirmation email.
