Immigration and Citizenship Law: In Current Events and In the Triangle
Prof. Eisha Jain (UNC School of Law) will discuss the legal issues at stake with recent immigration arrests, birthright citizenship, and other proposed federal policy changes.
Raleigh-based Attorney Allison Chan will talk about what she is currently experiencing with her clients and the courts. She works in the areas of enforcement and removal, deportation, asylum, ad complex family-based immigration and her clients have come to the U.S. from many countries around the world.
This event is open to all UNC affiliates. Registrants are invited to submit questions ahead of time; there will also be Q&A at the event.
