Object Oriented Data Analysis and its Applications: A conference in celebration of James S. Marron’s 70th Birthday


Join us in celebrating the illustrious career and remarkable contributions of Professor J.S. Marron on the occasion of his 70th birthday. This special conference will bring together a diverse community of scholars, collaborators, and students to honor Professor Marron’s pioneering work in statistics, data science, and their many interdisciplinary applications.

Professor Marron, currently based at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, has made profound impacts across multiple domains, including high dimensional, functional and object-oriented data analysis, machine learning, and the visualization of complex data structures. His research has influenced a wide range of fields, from biostatistics to computer science, and continues to inspire new directions in data-driven discovery.
