The Applied Biomechanics Laboratory of Dr. Jason Franz in the UNC NC State Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering invites applications for a new fully NIH-Funded PhD position for the Fall 2025 semester in Biomedical Engineering in the areas of biomedical imaging (MRI, biplane videoradiography), gait biofeedback, and computational simulation for precision rehabilitation in those at risk for knee osteoarthritis. We will use this open house to share more about our research, our facilities and available equipment, our training and mentoring philosophy, and allow current PhD students to share their experience in the department and the lab and to answer questions.
