The Frank C. Wilson Professionalism Forum, made possible through a generous grant from Dr. Frank C. Wilson to promote discussion and learning about professionalism, particularly regarding medical education, has featured various medical professionals since 2011.

Adina Kalet, MD, MPH, a general internist, is professor of medicine and medical education at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and previously Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the New York University Grossman School of Medicine.  She teaches, mentors and has led several cross-disciplinary groups of educators and researchers working to link education and health services research methodology to study medical education’s link to long-term outcomes in learners and patients.  She writes and speaks regularly on transforming medical education, clinical skills and professionalism remediation, educational technology, mentoring and professional identity formation assessment. She co-directs the US site of the University of Maastricht’s master’s in health professions education and leads several annual mentor development programs.  In 2023, along with Dr. Calvin L. Chou, she published the second edition of “Remediation in Medical Education: A Midcourse Correction” and received two national career awards- the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) John P. Hubbard Award and the Association for Academic Medical Colleges (AAMC) Award for Excellence in Medical Education. She has served on, and now chairs, the International Academic Review Committee (IARC) providing counsel to the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, School of Medicine (Israel).

We will provide boxed lunch during the afternoon session and snacks for the evening session. If you plan to attend in person, please indicate any dietary needs.
