NCCMA Annual Conference, Feb. 24, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Registration: College media staffs and advisers in North Carolina are invited to participate in our annual conference aimed at encouraging and improving college media operations on public and private university and college campuses.

2024 Co-host: High Point University

When:  10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24

Deadline to Register: Feb. 16

Where:  High Point University

  • Break-out sessions and panel discussions for those on yearbook, news and literary magazine staffs.
  • Free 30-minute student media critiques the day of the conference, or scheduled virtual sessions, if the staff requests. (You must pre-register for these, however. Send an email with "NCCMA Critiques" and the name of your campus in the subject line to ncsma@unc.edu by Feb. 20.)
  • Contest results: Best of Show and individual winners will be announced.

$250 Student Media Stipend: Students, apply for NCCMA's annual $250 Student Media Stipend. Conference attendees are eligible to propose a student media project of any kind and compete for a $250 stipend from NCCMA. Project proposals must be for work to be published in or shared through a student media outlets. Applications are to be submitted by 10 a.m. on the day of the conference.
