We are excited to present the next virtual seminar in the Career Exploration Series! In this installment, Dr. Jeff Schmidt will discuss his transition from academia to patent law. Dr. Schmidt will give a virtual 15-minute presentation and engage in a 15-minute discussion/Q&A.
Dr. Jeff Schmidt obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska Medical Center studying cancer research. He then earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in Intellectual Property and Technology Law. Dr. Schmidt currently serves as an associate at Morrison & Foerster, a leading global law firm with a variety of clients from financial institutions, technology, and life sciences companies.
