This online, self-paced AFIRM module is designed for paraeducators who support autistic learners in elementary school settings.
What You’ll Learn:
- Learn the basics of Time Delay
- Plan for, implement, and monitor this Time Delay
- Discover how to systematically fade the use of prompts during instructional activities by using a brief delay between the initial instruction and any additional instructions or prompts.
Requirements for CE Certificate:
- Computer with reliable high-speed internet
- Recommended: Completion of the Prompting: Introduction & Practice module prior to this course
- Complete all module content
- Score 70% or higher on the post-assessment
- Complete the module evaluation survey
- Professionals: RBT, BCaBA, BCBA, or BCBA-D. Type-II CEs can only be issued to BCBAs listed in the BACB Certificant Registry.
