This online, self-paced AFIRM module is designed for faculty and students in higher education and professionals who support autistic learners and their families across a variety of learning environments.

This is not the free AFIRM Certificate of Completion. The CEU process described here is separate and requires $35.00 payment.

What You’ll Learn:
- Discover an intervention in which peers directly promote autistic learner's social interactions and/or other individual learning goals, or the teacher/other adult organizes the social context (e.g., play groups, social network groups, recess) and when necessary provides support (e.g., prompts, reinforcement) to the autistic learners and their peer to engage in social interactions.
- Learn the basics of Peer-Based Instruction & Intervention
- Plan for, implement, and monitor this Peer-Based Instruction & Intervention

Requirements for CEU:
- Computer with reliable high-speed internet
- Recommended: Completion of the Modeling, Prompting, Reinforcement, and Social Skills Training modules prior to this course
- Complete all module content
- Score 70% or higher on the post-assessment
- Complete the module evaluation survey
