Registration Instructions

In order to qualify as a participating school in the National High School Ethics Bowl, all schools must register here with the NHSEB at least four weeks before their Regional Competition, or by January 15, 2024, whichever comes first. For 2023-2024, the national registration fee is $125 per school (not per team). If a school enters more than one team for an NHSEB event (with the Regional Organizer's permission), the total cost for that school remains $125. After the initial registration period (ending on November 1, 2023), the fee for late registration will be $175 per school. All school registrations must be completed by January 15, 2024. 

Important Note: When a school registers with the NHSEB, this does not automatically register the school to compete in their closest regional competition. The coach, advisor, or administrator of the team(s) should contact their regional organizer first in order to participate in their closest regional event. Some Regional Competitions have additional registration forms and fees. You can find the contact information for your closest regional organizer here.

Financial Aid: The Parr Center remains committed to ensuring widespread access to participation in the NHSEB activity regardless of school resource level or financial status. If your team requires financial assistance in order to participate, please contact NHSEB HQ (ethicsbowl@unc.edu) before completing your registration. Fees may be reduced or waived on a case-by-case basis

Payment Methods: If your school prefers to pay with a purchase order, please mark "check" and use this form to request an electronic invoice. All checks should be payable to the Parr Center for Ethics and postmarked to the following address by January 15, 2024:
