SLATE 2023 Undergraduate Research Symposium

Housed at the Stone Center, Students Learning to Advance Truth and Equity (SLATE) is a University-wide initiative designed to engage undergraduates in a critical understanding of race, racism, and racial equity, especially concerning African Americans.

In May 2023, SLATE awarded sixteen (16) research fellowships to outstanding undergraduates across a range of disciplines and paired them with faculty research fellows to engage in novel learning opportunities in original and ongoing research. The Fall 2023 SLATE Undergraduate Research Symposium serves as a showcase of their scholarship.
