The 2023 Women of Worth Conference: Empow(HER) will take place on Friday, September 29 and will focus on professional development, career advancement and building effective networks. The conference will address issues around identity and inclusion and provide a brave space to discuss topics such as: glass ceilings, imposter syndrome, leadership development and well-being. From undergraduates to tenured faculty, participants will have opportunities to engage in plenaries, workshops, and informal networking. The conference will meet participants wherever they are in their career advancement journeys and provide practical tools and new networks for growth and belonging.  

This program welcomes all participants regardless of age, race, disability, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, political ideology, or veteran status.

Alumni who graduated within the last 5 years: Free

Alumni: 6 years or more: $35

Non-UNC Affiliates: $35
