Rather than simply migrating your Sakai course content to Canvas, consider using this opportunity to re-revisit the overall design of one or more of your courses. The 2-hour Canvas Course Design Snapshot is designed to help instructors refine their course goals and align them with appropriate assessments and assignments, all within the framework of discussing best uses for specific Canvas tools and features. This is a great opportunity to develop a plan for migrating your courses from Sakai and to begin creating your course space in Canvas.
These sessions will be led by CFE staff. ITS technical support staff will also be on hand during and after each session to support instructors who want to use this time to work on developing their courses in Canvas.
