Rather than simply migrating your Sakai course content to Canvas, consider using this opportunity to re-revisit the overall design of one or more of your courses. The Canvas Course Design Institute, offered in 6 hours over three days, will help instructors refine their course goals and align them with appropriate assessments and assignments, all within the framework of discussing best uses for specific Canvas tools and features. It will also be an opportunity to learn from and share ideas with other instructors. During the Canvas Course Design Institute, you will have the chance to develop a plan for and start creating your course space in Canvas.

These sessions will be led by CFE staff. ITS technical support staff will also be on hand during and after each of the three sessions to support instructors who want to use this time to work on developing their courses in Canvas.
