The Shea Clinical Cancer Symposium is designed to have nationally recognized physicians or scientists both from UNC-CH and from other institutions present cutting edge, novel, and up-to-date information regarding the clinical care of patients with cancer. This year's event will highlight clinical and translational research focusing on adoptive cellular therapy for lymphoid malignancies and novel approaches for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).
We welcome faculty and trainees from medical schools in North Carolina, oncologists in the UNC Health Care System, and oncologists throughout the Southeast.
If you are a non-UNC trainee, we require email approval from your supervisor/director to attend the symposium. The email must include complete contact information and the title of your supervisor/director. Email must be received by August 7th to validate registration. Send to Elizabeth Gorsuch at
elizabeth_gorsuch@med.unc.edu or call (919) 445-2317 if you have any questions.
Speakers, honored guests, and exhibitor representatives will be automatically registered for the symposium. You will receive a registration confirmation notice. If you have any questions about your status, please contact Elizabeth Gorsuch at
