Join the Science Policy and Advocacy Group (SPAG) to learn how to talk with legislators, led by Amy McConkey, director of UNC's State Affairs, and Kelly Dockham & Roxana Boyd, director and assistant director of UNC's Federal Affairs. This workshop will provide tips for effectively communicating key points to specific audiences as well as offer opportunities to get direct feedback on potential pitches based on research area. Lunch with be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
