The Science Writing and Communication Club is hosting an event with Dr. Tiffany Garbutt. Dr. Garbutt is currently a local science writer at Drug Discovery News and she has experience writing for multiple medical, nonprofit, and academic peer-reviewed outlets.
Dr. Garbutt will be speaking about her experience transitioning from academia to a successful journalism career
Undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows with an interest in communicating science as a career are welcome to attend for an informative talk and Q & A.
