Please note that we hope to accommodate everyone who would like to attend; however, priority is given to those working or residing in North Carolina. A total of 150 virtual seats are available. At this time, 100 are allotted for North Carolina registrants, and 50 are allotted to Out-of-State registrants. Adjustments may need to be made to the number of seats allotted to each registration type.This course, provided over four days in 4-hour sessions, is designed to help prepare infection prevention and control professionals to successfully pass the CBIC certification exam and obtain the Certification in Infection Control (CIC) designation. The course will be a systematic review of the foundations of infection control as outlined on the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. website:

- Cleaning, Sterilization, Disinfection, Asepsis
In addition, sessions on Overview of the CBIC exam, Test Taking Tips and Strategies, and Practice Questions will be included.

Continuing Education Credit: CE application will be submitted to NC Nurses Association.
Course Completion: To receive the Course Completion Certificate and CE credit you must attend all four sessions in their entirety. No partial credit given.
You are welcome to register and sit in on as many sessions as you like, but if you have not attended all sessions, you will not receive a course completion certificate or CE.
