Calling all LGBTQ+ graduate students and older LGBTQ+ adults (55+)! Each generation of LGBTQ+ individuals face unique challenges, yet we share deeply personal experiences of self-discovery, love and heartbreak, inclusion and exclusion, and ever-evolving journeys to be our truest selves around the people we love. Join us to connect across generations! Learn about one another's journeys and enjoy delicious food, meaningful conversations, giggles, and stories.

This event is created in collaboration between the UNC LGBTQ Center's Queer Graduate & Professional Students (QGAPS), The Orange County Department on Aging's LGBTQ Senior Resource Team (LGBTQ SRT), and the Carolina Aging Alliance (CAA).

DINNER will be served! Be sure to RSVP so that we can save a plate for you and accommodate any dietary restrictions. REGISTRATION will be capped at 20 graduate students + 20 older adults, so RSVP today!

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION:

ADDRESS: 211A W. Cameron Ave., Chapel Hill, NC 27599. (See Google Maps for driving directions.)
Enter The Graduate Student Center (brick church building) from W. Cameron Ave., between Wilson St. and Pittsboro St.
Click here for a picture of the building and campus maps.

PARKING: street parking is available in metered spaces on Franklin St. (one big block north of the venue) as well as the following parking lots in walking distance:
The Graduate Student Center has two parking spaces reserved for individuals with limited mobility (spaces parallel to the church building). The building itself is wheelchair-accessible but the sidewalks nearby are a bit bumpy. DO NOT park in the additional spaces across from the building — they are owned by a private company and will tow!

Navigating by bus from the Seymour Center: take the “HS” southbound bus from Southern Human Services Rd. to Pittsboro St. at Newman Center. When you get off, walk 3 minutes to The Graduate Student Center (north on Pittsboro St. then turn left on W. Cameron Ave.). Use Google Maps to navigate or click here for bus schedule and realtime map.
