UNC Therapy Services presents the inaugural UNC Running Symposium to be held on Friday, May 19, 2023. Running medicine healthcare professionals are invited to the Research Triangle in NC to participate in a day long program specifically designed for practitioners who have an interest in work with and treating running athletes. The day of learning will include presentations on diagnosis, treatment, research, education and prevention of athletic injuries presented by experts from many different areas including Physical Therapy, Orthopaedic Medicine, Pelvic Health, Nutrition, Psychology, Training, and Technology in footwear. The format will be a series of lectures with ample time for Q&A and break times for networking with the presenters and colleagues as well an opportunity to visit our vendors exhibiting their latest trends in footwear, apparel, and running technology.
