In-class, small group activities can help students engage with one another and with course materials. Research shows small group work can enhance higher-order thinking, improve mastery of course concepts, promote diverse views, and lead to deep learning. Learn 10 or more strategies to implement small groups easily in your course to foster learning and well-being, improve academic achievement, and enhance relationship-building between classmates and the instructor or TAs. We welcome all instructors, faculty, graduate students (& TAs) or postdocs.
