Students of color may encounter situations they are not expecting or prepared to handle as they enter graduate school. 

Examples of topics we will discuss:

  >How to find a mentor 

  >How to maximize your mentor-mente relatio

  >Building a network

  >Managing (your advisor, etc.) up

  >Any other topics you want to discuss 

This will be a casual conversation, round-table style so please bring your questions and wisdom to share at this session.
