Reviving the Sisterhood of Empowerment in Academe (SEA)
Are you a womxn of color looking for community? Are you looking for a nonacademic space to vent and just talk about life? If so, come to the Sisterhood of Empowerment in Academe (SEA) interest meeting. SEA is a student led group, meant to be a place for womxn of color to come together, share their lived experiences, and support one another throughout their journey in academia. The meeting is open to all womxn of color pursuing a master degree or PhD. Meet us at the Carolina Brewery on Thursday September 29th at 4:30 pm. We will have free appetizers! Hope to see you there!
