The Monkeypox outbreak has been declared a public health emergency by the Biden administration as well as several governors around the country; currently, more than 250 cases have been reported in North Carolina. Join experts from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and the Orange County Department to learn more about the epidemiology of Monkeypox as well as practical strategies that governmental public health is taking to curb the spread of the disease in North Carolina and what we as students can do to protect ourselves and others.
