Managing up is an essential skill in almost any field of study or workplace. This interactive session will provide graduate students with the opportunity to critically reflect on how they can manage up, navigate power, and maximize their relationships with others in order to help them in their growth and development. Students will be able to identify how to effectively develop a proactive relationship with others in their organization, to articulate how they can navigate positional power within an organization, and to articulate how they can navigate non-positional power within an organization.
