The UNC NRP is pleased to welcome Alexia Vernon, founder and president of Step into Your Moxie, and leader in transformational speaking and women's leadership, to share lessons on how to speak and lead with unshakeable presence and undeniable impact. In this session, attendees will cultivate the confidence, strategy, and communication skills to be a dynamic persuasive communicator who more easily speaks up for themselves, their ideas, and their work. She will share strategies for developing the ability to manage fear and self-defeating thoughts connected to "going for the yes," and how to address other people's objections by staying flexible, listener-centered, and on message.

Attendance at this event is currently pending approval for contact hours of clinical research education for maintenance of  ACRP’s CCRC®, CCRA®, CPI® or  ACRP-CP® certification designations.
