Thank you for registering for AFIRM4Paras Module: Visual Cues for .2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
This online self-paced module is designed for paraprofessionals who work with and/or support elementary school learners with autism and their families in a variety of learning environments.
In this AFIRM4Paras module, Visual Cues, professionals will learn how to plan for, use, and monitor the evidence-based practice. Visual cues are concrete objects used to increase the learner with ASD's ability to complete a target skill or behavior. This module targets the types of visual cues, such as visual directions or instructional cues, and provides interactive case activities for each of the planning for, using, and monitoring visual cue steps.
NOTE: If you have found this course through the UNC Event Registration System, you will need to go to the AFIRM website (afirm.fpg.unc.edu) to take the AFIRM4Paras: Visual Cues module. Once you complete the module, you will have the option to pay for the CEUs through the UNC Event Registration System.

Within 45 days of receipt of payment, after confirmation of completion of module requirements, you will receive .2 CEUs for AFIRM4Paras Module: Visual Cues from the Friday Center for Continuing Education.
