This online self-paced module is designed for paraprofessionals who work with and/or support elementary school learners with autism and their families in a variety of learning environments.
In this AFIRM4Paras module, Time Delay, professionals will learn how to plan for, use, and monitor the evidence-based practice. Prompting is used to help the learner with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) to successfully use a target skill or behavior. This module targets the basic rules of least-to-most prompting and provides interactive case activities for discussing a plan for, using, and monitoring prompting.

NOTE: If you have found this course through the UNC Event Registration System, you will need to go to the AFIRM website (afirm.fpg.unc.edu) to register and take the AFIRM4Paras: Time Delay module. Once you complete the module, you will have the option to pay for the CEs through the UNC Event Registration System.
