Thank you for registering for AFIRM Module: Pivotal Response Training for 3 Continuing Education units (CEs).
This online self-paced module is designed for professionals who work with and/or support learners with autism and their families in a variety of learning environments.
In this AFIRM module, Pivotal Response Training, professionals will learn how to plan for, use, and monitor the evidence-based practice. Pivotal learning variables (i.e., motivation, responding to multiple cues, self-management, and self-initiations) guide intervention practices that are implemented in settings that build on learner interests and initiative. Pivotal response training is an intervention that integrates principles of child development with those of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
