This course is being offered to insure training of LTC infection preventionists between the times that the SPICE IC in LTCFs is normally offered with live presentations in the Spring and Fall each year. This course offering is supported with grant funding. As a result, registration is free of charge.

This will be a structured, 3-day course via Zoom webinar with instruction starting at 8 am each day, and ending mid to late afternoon. After a brief welcome each morning, recorded presentations will be played with a 5 minute break between each presentation. A 45 minute lunch break is planned for each day. Each afternoon, Evelyn Cook will join the webinar for a live Q and A session. In addition, during the lunch break on Wednesday, Dr. Rutala will be available for Q and A on his two presentations: OSHA and Infection Control Issues in the Environment.

On May 24, registrants will receive a link to register for free for the Zoom webinar; 

Participants who complete the course will receive a link via email to complete a course evaluation. (Check your spam/junk mail if not received in your inbox.) Once the course evaluation is complete, the learner will be auto-directed to the course completion certificate. Download the certificate, then type in your name, then save and print. Store in a safe place. Fee for replacement certificate is $25.
