Are you teaching a course for the first time next Spring? Have you taught before and want to revise or refresh the content? This workshop will use Backward Course Design to assist instructors on developing a syllabus, a course plan, model lesson planning, creating learning objectives, ideas for student-centered engagement, and how to evaluate students' learning outcomes. Bring your own course materials for discussion, revising, and sharing. Individual students or small groups of students working on the same course are welcome to attend. This workshop counts towards CIRTL at UNC Chapel Hill Associate's levels of achievement.
