This virtual lecture series will consist of bi-monthly hour long  sessions and will cover a range of topics central to the field of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.  Sessions are presesnted by recognized academic and clinical experts in the field.  Topics include Overview of I/DD, Deafness in Children, Genetics in I/DD , Dental Care in I/DD, Sleep Behavior in I/DD, Transition Planning in I/DD, IDEA and NC Law in I/DD, Positive Behavioral Support in I/DD, Autism Spectrum Disorder Neurobiology, Rational Psychopharmacology in I/DD, Nutritional Health in I/DD, Sexuality in I/DD, Zika Virus and Neurodevelopment, and more.  Registrants must be faculty or students enrolled in UNC System Schools.
