Threaded discussion forums are one of the most commonly used tools for facilitating student interaction asynchronously. They can be used in both online and face-to-face courses. At a minimum, they support text-based questions and responses; some support media-enhanced posts as well. In this session we will review campus-supported technologies for asynchronous discussion and best practices to engage students.
