This training for the prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program

is open to: SECOND year graduate students who do not have a Masters degree or more than 12 months of post baccalaureate training

The fellowship offers 3 years of support, $34,000 annual stipend, $12,000 cost-of-education allowance (to the institution), international research and professional development opportunities, and XSEDE Supercomputer access.

This workshop will equip you to start preparing for the GRFP application this summer so you will be ready to hit the ground running in Fall 2020!

We will provide insight, guidance, and examples for writing the essays and other components for your NSF GRFP application, with an emphasis on identifying and developing your broader impacts. Attendees will receive the following:

>Overview of NSF GRFP mission, application, and review criteria

>Tips for crafting a competitive application

>Panel of Fellowship Recipients will share their insights for crafting an award-winning application
