SPAG Presents: The Federal Budget 101

Do you know where your research funding really comes from? Join the UNC Science Policy Advocacy Group (SPAG), along with the Assistant Director of Federal Affairs at UNC, Roxana Boyd, for a seminar on the federal budget and appropriations. During the seminar Ms. Boyd will discuss the timeline and process of approving a federal budget for the fiscal year. She will also give insights on what the upcoming 2-year federal budget entails and what that means for funding certain areas of interest, such as higher education and research. Lunch will be provided! September 5th from 12-1pm in Bondurant 2035.
