CREATE is a systematic method for teaching students to engage in the research process using published papers. When the method is used, students have opportunities to read parts of a publication, analyze and critique the data, and predict the next research question. The CREATE method can be used with students of any level, and is a way to teaching research thinking and communication skills with any discipline.
