This workshop presented by Dr. Ashalla Freeman and other NSF GRFP reviewers will provide the following:

Overiew of the mission of the NSF GRFP
Review of GRF application components and ther review process
Tips for crafting a competitive application
Panel of Fellowship Recipients will share their insights for crafting an award-winning application AND NSF GRFP Reviewers will provide advice about what they look for in strong applications and common errors/omissions to avoid.

Additional Information:

The prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship is open to undergraduate seniors and first & second year graduate students in STEM fields who do not have a Masters degree or more than 12 months of postbaccalaureate training. The fellowship offers 3 years of support, $34,000 annual stipend, $12,000 cost-of-education allowance (to the institution), international research and professional development opportunities, and XSEDE Supercomputer access.
