The Black Communities:  A Conference for Collaboration  is a a multi-disciplinary conference to connect academic researchers and Black Communities across North America. By creating new collaborations, we will help to document, safeguard and enhance the life of these communities.  This event is hosted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) and will be held April 23-25, 2018 at the Carolina Theater in Durham, NC.

The event will include panel discussions, oral presentations, workshops, and POP-Up Presentations showcasing an academic poster, photography, artistic performance or video. 

The Conference pass is good for the entire event and covers the following : continental breakfasts, beverage breaks, and access to all presentations, workshops, tours and other activities (subject to capacity limits of individual activities).  We have two conference pass rates.

General Admission - university faculty and staff $225.00  
Reduced Admission-community members, students, non-profit staff $125.00
