Interested in writing about science for non-technical audiences? Join SWAC at the second annual Science Writing Workshop! Abby Olena, a freelance science writer and communicator, will lead Part 1 of the workshop on April 12th. At this session, Abby will discuss tips and tricks to writing about science in a meaningful, relevant way and also lead multiple interactive activities. For Part 2 of the workshop on April 27th, you will bring a sample of your original work (blog post, short article, etc.) and will have the opportunity to discuss your piece and receive feedback from science communication experts from around the Triangle. Although not required, it is highly encouraged that, if possible, you attend both Part 1 and Part 2 of the Writing Workshop.
