After this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Describe what data management is and why it’s important,  including relevant funding agency policies for managing/sharing research data
• List some strategies and tools for managing data, both for personal and research purposes
• Employ those strategies and tools to improve their data management practices and to track measures (alt-metrics) that demonstrate their research impact

Please bring a laptop to use for the hands-on portion of the workshop.
