Effective communications and productive interpersonal relationships are paramount to effective teams and organizational success.  In this session, you will understand your own and each others style of leading, communicating and getting work done.  You will understand ways to be more effective, collaborative and productive both professionally and personally. You will gain insight into potential blind spots and learn ways to more effectively manage them.

  • Gain greater awareness of their and each other's styles of leading, communicating and getting work done.
  • Identify potential blind spots and developmental areas for professional growth.
  • Understand and implementing behaviors leading towards more effective communications thus enhancing individual and team performance. 
  • Understand how to be more interpersonally effective.
  • Use practical tools to create an environment that encourages innovation, achieves results and fosters productive dialogue.

About the facilitator: Peter Metzner, MA, MPA, BCC is a Board Certified Coach and Peoplemap Trainer. He has facilitated hundreds of training programs for universities, hospitals, colleges, schools, non-profits, associations, professional offices and businesses. Peter has served as Vice President of Client Relations and Program Development for The Leadership Trust.  Before joining the Trust, he was employed by the Center for Creative Leadership, where he helped customize executive development and training programs for major businesses and corporations. Peter also teaches Psychology at Vance-Granville Community College, and has facilitated numerous seminars on High Performing Teams at UNC Chapel Hill, Elon and William Peace Universities.
