UNC’s Interactive Design Workshop
Learn Interactive Design using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript(jquery)
The greatest certainty facing the publishing industry is change. There are many graphic designers and artists who are eager to create interactive graphics in this changing world but have not had the time or resources to build those skills. Interactive workshop is custom-tailored to equip graphic designers who want to create interactive infographics using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (jQuery).
This intensive, five-day, project-based learning environment, taught by top professionals and UNC professors teaches both technical skills and how to design for an interactive user experience. You will be inspired by special presentations from working professionals and participants will be immersed in the languages, tools and concepts of interactive design all while on the beautiful campus of UNC Chapel Hill.
Each day, students will produce publishable work that builds on each day’s concepts culminating in a large-scale interactive graphic project.
Skills Learned:
· Designing for the Web
· Responsive Design (Bootstrap Framework)
· Basics of HTML5
· Basics of CSS3
