This training will introduce the Profile of Participation (PoP). The PoP is a tool to guide service providers in obtaining a comprehensive overview of a client's functional independence and participation in activities of daily living. Successful use of the tool will help service providers understand what is most meaningful to their clients including what intervention targets will lead to the most meaningful gains for their clients. The training will describe the purpose of the tool, how to use it in practice, and how to use the information to identify meaningful intervention targets.

Attendees will be invited to participate in a follow-up web-based consultation to address questions that have come up after efforts to use the PoP.

Target audience: ACT, CST, TMS providers, as well as MCO staff

Trainer:  Antoine Bailliard, Ph.D., OTR/L, Developer of the PoP and Associate Professor, Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
