Did you know that the "unknown hero of the Civil Rights Movement" was a gay, Black man? We will be watching Brother Outsider: The Life of Bayard Rustin. The 20-award-winning documentary showcases "a mentor to MLK Jr., and the architect of the legendary March on Washington. Rustin dared to live as an openly gay man during the fiercely homophobic 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s."

Check out the preview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PViAjlwt5lI) and bring your favorite pillow, blanket, snuggy, etc.! Get cozy at the LGBTQ Center's famous purple couch and enjoy pizza, popcorn, soda, laughs, tears, and community! Grad & professional students from all departments and non-student loved ones are welcome!
