We will then discuss the How to Be an Ally training conducted from 2016-2018 in North Carolina schools. The focus of this portion of the discussion will be on the qualitative assessment of this training to understand its impact. Finally, the discussion will wrap up with policy and practice recommendations for North Carolina schools to function as allies for their LGBTQ students.
