Title: Life of Investigator-Initiated Trials
Objectives: By the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Describe the lifecycle of an Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) from study start-up through maintenance and closeout.
- Identify key departments and institutional resources involved in the development and conduct of an IIT.
- Discuss strategies for effective participant recruitment and retention throughout the study lifecycle.
The session will be hybrid. In-person session will take place in
NC TraCS, Brinkhous-Bullitt Building, 2nd floor, Conference Rm 219. The room will be available until 1:30, for networking opportunities with colleagues after the presentation.
