In our first session, IRB Analyst Cinya Brand will focus on defining what constitutes human subjects research and when a research team becomes engaged in research.

We will provide an overview of what human subjects research is and is not, why it matters, and how individuals can become involved in the research process. Future sessions will explore a variety of topics relevant to conducting human subjects research at UNC.
