On November 2, 2026, UNC SPICE will host the only Infection Prevention Exhibitor Showcase planned for 2026 at our course, Infection Control Part 2: The Infection Preventionist as an Environmentalist. We anticipate that a large group of acute care infection prevention staff members, responsible for infection control in hospitals and health care systems across North Carolina and beyond, will be in attendance.

The cost of exhibitor space for corporate entities is $750 payable by credit card only.  Vendors will receive an event display table with table covering and a chair,  dedicated exhibit time from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm and visits with attendees during breaks throughout the day, and complimentary lunch with attendees at 12:30 pm.  Setup begins at 8:00 am and take down by 4:00 pm.

Vendor registration closes on Friday, September 18, 2026.

We are excited about providing life-saving education from several nationally recognized speakers at this important event and believe that the Infection Prevention Exhibitor Showcase is a mutually beneficial and educational opportunity for vendors and infection prevention staff.

Background: The North Carolina Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology (SPICE) promotes prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections in North Carolina and beyond by providing evidence-based education and consultation across the healthcare spectrum. SPICE is a program of the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Federal Tax ID # 56-600-1393).

SPICE offers four infection control courses each year at The William and Ida Friday Center in Chapel Hill, NC.  Attendance at these courses is required by law for health care personnel who are designated as the infection preventionist for their facility.  SPICE has a long history of offering these high-quality, affordable infection control courses that are packed with the latest infection control information presented by nationally recognized infection prevention leading experts, including Dr. William Rutala, Dr. David Weber, Dr. Deverick Anderson, Dr. Sickbert-Bennet, and many other high-quality presenters.
